Natural stone and construction chemicals can be a delicate combination. Unsuitable sealants turn joints into visible scars when plasticizers migrate into the stone. This can be avoided by using the appropriate adhesives, tapes or sealants. illbruck natural stone silicone prevents discoloration. Silicone is also available in a matt finish, to ensure that joints blend invisibly into polished or exposed surfaces.

Structural joints play a central role in modern exposed concrete architecture, both in construction techniques and as a design element. It is important to plan technically accurate and energy-efficient joints to ensure weather protection, vapour diffusion and optimal thermal insulation.

This is often a difficult task in existing buildings. Renovation of pre-cast concrete buildings creates challenges for architects, engineers and installers. illbruck has the right solution for every application.

Bricks are widely used as a construction material for building façades. When it comes to joint sealing, bricks are doubly challenging: the extremely slender form of these components lead to horizontal and vertical shear forces. This creates a tremendous amount of movement in the joints. Sealing solutions for brick façades must compensate for a high level of deformation, yet still meet the safety standards for static joints. At the same time, imprecise masonry work can limit the sealant options. Load-bearing consoles of the wrong size sometimes make the use of sealing tapes impossible. Particularly narrow masonry joints can also restrict the use of adhesive sealants. The best solution must be determined on a case-by-case basis. illbruck offers a wide variety of solutions – for every structure and every contingency.

illbruck FA870 - Premium Natural Stone Silicone – 310ml

illbruck FA870 is a one component, low slump silicone completely free of any ingredients likely to cause migratory staining to natural stone. It is neutral curing for safe sealing of stonework and has a conventional finish. Contains fungicide. FA870 is classified according to ISO 11600 as F-20HM.  FA870 has been formulated for the long term elastic sealing of movement joints between natural stone such as granite, slate, terrazzo, porphyry, limestone, travertine, sandstone, quartzite, marble, etc., as well as for joints with other construction materials like concrete, ceramics, metals, glass, PVC and primed wood.

illbruck FA880 - Premium Natural Stone Silicone Matt – 310ml

FA880 is a one component, low slump silicone completely free of any ingredients likely to cause migratory staining to natural stone. It is neutral curing for safe sealing of stonework and has a matt finish. Contains fungicide. FA880 is classified according to EN15651 for use in cold climates. Please see table below for further classifications.  FA880 has been formulated for the long term elastic sealing of movement joints between natural stone such as granite, slate, terrazzo, porphyry, limestone, travertine, sandstone, quartzite, marble, etc., as well as for joints with other construction materials like concrete, ceramics, metals, glass, PVC and primed wood.

illbruck FS500 Frame & Façade Silicone – Low Mod – Neutral Cure 310ml

illbruck FS500 is one-part, neutral curing, low modulus, low odour silicone sealant suitable for perimeter joint sealing applications with high movement capability. It has excellent adhesion to most porous substrates. FS500 is ideal for use in: expansion & curtain wall joints, perimeter joints around windows or doors, panel joints between most common substrates, heel and toe beads, polycarbonate glazing and other general joint sealing applications.

illbruck FA600 Frame Silicone

illbruck FA600 cures rapidly to form a permanently flexible and extremely durable watertight seal. It is designed for sealing glazing applications, window and door perimeters, display cases, conservatories and greenhouses.

illbruck TP600 Compriband 600

illbruck TP600 is an impregnated joint sealing tape for use in a wide variety of movement joints including window perimeter seals and other applications. TP600 is an impregnated joint sealing tape for use in a wide variety of movement joints including window perimeter seals and other applications. Weather tight against the most severe combinations of wind and rain, it satisfies most expectations as an external weather seal in building and civil engineering applications. With full BBA approval, the product has been extensively tested and has a proven reputation across both the UK and Europe. BBA Certificate N° 96/3309 and, as part of the i3 system, N° 12/4891.

illbruck TP601 Compriband e

illbruck TP601 is a weather-retardant, impregnated, open-cell, polyurethane soft foam, enclosed before use in a polypropylene film with a bonding adhesive on one side for fixing. TP601 is an impregnated, pre-compressed foam sealing tape, encapsulated before use in a tear-off, polypropylene film with a bonding adhesive on one side for installation. The tape is intended for the external, recessed perimeter sealing of windows and doors with the same high-performance characteristics as TP600. The tear-off, encapsulating film permits the post-installation expansion of the foam strip, thus ensuring an effective weather seal.

illbruck TP605 Compriband Super

illbruck TP605 is an acrylic impregnated foam sealant strip which when used under compression provides a high performance weatherseal. It can be used internally & externally for the linear sealing of movement joints.TP605 Compriband Super is designed for use internally or externally for the linear sealing of movement joints in a wide variety of construction and civil engineering applications, for example in brick and block work walls, partitions, as a perimeter seal around window and door frames, sealing pre-cast concrete panels, sectional buildings and insulated cladding panels.

illbruck AT101 Primer for Silicone on Porous Surfaces

illbruck AT101 is a primer used to improve the adhesion of weathertight sealants to porous substrates.AT101 improves the adhesion of weathertight sealants onto various porous substrates. It is recommended that in order to ensure satisfactory adhesion, a test area is checked prior to proceeding with the complete application.
