The PAL Centre of Excellence is a FireQual Approved Training Centre. FireQual are the specialist Awarding Organisation for the fire sector in the UK and their nationally recognised regulated qualifications ascertain the knowledge and skills behind performing specialist fire safety works.
The FireQual 1-Day Passive Fire Protection Course will ensure that:
- You have full theoretical knowledge of types of fires and their behaviours
- You understand fire compartments and separating elements
- You understand reinstatement requirements and fire ratings
- You understand the types of service penetrations and product solutions to achieve safe and compliant installations
- You achieve a full understanding of certifications, guidance notes and regulations as well as Third-Party Certification Schemes

We deliver the full theoretical and practical training at our purpose-built Centre of Excellence in Tring, Hertfordshire – just 15 minutes by car from the M25.
