Liquid EPDM Install

Performance Adhesives Ltd were delivering coloured Silicone to a Taylor Wimpey site when the site manager asked for advice on sealing a 90m section of wall which was directly above an underground car park.

Taylor Wimpey required a watertight seal on a section of wall / concrete slab which measured 800mm x 90m.

Initially it was thought an EPDM Tape would suffice but after a site visit and further inspection it was suggested by PAL, and it’s technical team, a liquid EPDM would self-terminate on the wall and slab giving a complete seal and no chance of water ingress. As part of the work the concrete slab and brickwork was cleaned and primed before the liquid EPDM install.
