What is Nullifire FZ400 Movement Joint Filler?
FZ400 Movement Joint Filler is an advanced fire-stopping solution designed for use in linear joints, both vertical and horizontal. It has been tested for sealing movement joints and for providing a flexible penetration seal around, and at the head of, Nullifire FB750 Intubatt installations.
This product features Nullifire’s innovative Graphite eXpansion Technology (GXT), a proprietary fire protection system that expands when exposed to heat to help maintain fire integrity. The GXT material is contained within a durable, water-resistant sleeve, offering reliable performance and added protection in demanding environments.
What applications can FZ400 Movement Joint Filler be used for?
FZ400 Movement Joint Filler is a high-performance fire stopping solution for linear joints and service penetration seals, tested for use around and at the head of FB750 Intubatt systems. It accommodates structural movement, including deflection and service movement, allowing up to ±30mm (tested) and ±60mm (theoretical) movement. The product has been cyclic movement tested and fire tested with service penetrations to ensure long-term reliability.
This fire rated movement joint seal restores fire compartment integrity in walls and floors where construction joints require both flexibility and certified fire resistance.
FZ400 has been tested in linear joint gaps up to 115mm in walls and 150mm in floors, making it suitable for a wide range of applications.
With approximately 60% compression recovery, FZ400 compresses and returns to shape repeatedly, delivering dependable performance in areas subject to frequent movement, vibration, and expansion where traditional mastic sealants are unsuitable.
